Looks Who's One!

One year old already! Do you believe it? I've grown so much and learned all kinds of neat things in the last year. I can't wait to see what I'll learn this year!

Mommy took me to see the doctor again today. They put me on the scale, and said that I weigh 23-1/2 pounds, and am 31-5/8 inches tall now. I've gotten big! Then mommy took me to see a mean old man who poked me lots of times. I didn't cry too much. Mommy took me out for lunch & icecream afterwards, so I'm not too mad at her.

Who says you have to play "on" the slide?

I say playing under it, going over & then under the bars, can be just as fun! When you play under it and on it you end up with two toys in one. Aren't I the genious for figuring out how to get double the fun out of one toy!?

Reading to Grandma

Mommy snapped a couple pictures while I was reading to grandma today. I'm even pointing out all the pictures in the book to her.

Little Dare Devil

Look-out Evel Knievel! Here I come!

I can feed myself, Thank You!

Just look at me go, feeding myself like a big boy!

Gingerbread Men

Who says you can only have Gingerbread Men at Christmas time? Well, not with Grandma around. I can have all the goodies I want when Grandma is visiting. Just ask her, she'll tell you so.

Children's Museum

We went to a museum today especially for kids. It was amazing! I could touch and play with everything. Mommy & daddy even got in on the fun. I guess it really is true, there's a little bit of kid in us all.

I love playing in the water! It's so much fun to splash in. Mommy must have know I was going to get all wet, she had dry clothes waiting just for me when I was done playing in the water. She's so smart!

Daddy & I were playing with these magic balls. Somehow they would just fly up in the air when you put them over a hole in the table. It was pretty neat.

The light table was alot of fun too. Did you know, that if you mix colors you get a completely different color? How cool is that!?

Drums....drums....drums....what else is there to say? Except...fun...fun...fun!!!

I wasn't too sure what to make of this strange powdery stuff that was all over the floor.

Ding Ding!!

Ride 'em cowboy! Giddy-up!

Who says I have to go down the slide!?

Beep-Beep! Comin' thru!

New Swing

Mommy got me a swing, and daddy put it up in our backyard. Now I can swing anytime I want. I'm really like swinging, it's a lot of fun.

My First Birthday

It's not really my birthday yet. But mommy planned a party for me anyway, she wanted daddy to be home for it, and she thought it would be nice to have while grandmas was visiting too. She says that she's going to take me out for lunch, icecream and to get a new toy for my acutally birthday.
I had a really good day. They whole day revolved around me!
Just look at all the balloons! WOW!! Have you ever seen so many balloons!? Mommy & daddy just filled the whole dining room with them.
Here's the cake that all my guests got to share.
My mommy & daddy are the coolest! They gave me my very own cake and let me eat it too! YUM was it good, and boy was it fun to play in.

Presents!!!!!!!!!!! Presents!!!!!!!!! And.......you guessed it. More presents!!!!!!!!!!

11 Months Old

We finally got out of that stinky old hotel, and into our very own house again. Horray! And look, the windows are just the right height for me to look out.
Here I am helping unpack. I'm very thorough! Nothing gets left in a box when I'm on the job!
I even go the extra mile and help mommy clean. See? Aren't I doing such a good job?
But even though I help mommy clean, don't thinnk I forgot how to be messey. I am a little boy after all. Messy is what we do best!
Today was fun. We went to the mall and played on the toys. Then we went to a place call Chuck-E-Cheese and played on more toys. We had lots of fun. I hope to go back there some day.

Mommy has been working extra hard to make my room someplace special for me to play. Just look at it. Isn't mommy the best? She's so creative. I never would have thought to do some of the things she did for me.

Mommy even let me help put my toy bin together.
But you know what, even the toy bin is fun to play with.

Oh yeah! Daddy taught me how to eat off a these long sticks. He said they were called chopsticks. Mommy can't even eat with those. Shhhh! Don't tell her I told you that though. ;) It's our secret.

I'm helping Daddy this time. We had to go to the man store (mommy called it Home Depot), to get some things. Daddy let me drive the cart for him. I'm really getting good at this driving thing. Just check me out!
